Duchy of Western Winds
Amtgard is a swords-and-sorcery-styled medieval combat, culture, and sciences organization. We have battles with safe foam weaponry on a small and large scale depending on the event. As part of a larger group, Amtgard is an international society with events across Canada, the USA, and other countries. Some of our members take yearly road trips to large events in the USA to meet and fight with others. Amtgard games can include strictly fighting team-on-team, or one on one. It can include bows and arrows, armour, etc... and Class battle games and quests brings in classes such as Assassins, Scouts, Warriors, Wizards, Barbarians and much more... (even Monsters at times!)

How to Find Us
Our local park, "Western Winds", meets together every Saturday at Jackie Parker Park (JPP) at 1:00 pm, and is free to play, so come check us out! It is a drop in event, so show up before 5\6pm and we will likely still be there!
Locations on map: There is one public bathroom. Numbers 1 and 2 are our usual Summer locations: while 2, 3, and 4 are our Winter locations.
Special Events
While our regular meeting time is every Saturday at 1 Pm, we have other events as well.
A mid-reign is an event held halfway through a Kingdom's reign. We are part of the Kingdom of Veridian Outlands. It normally comes with a feast and court.
Circles of Fate is our largest event, and it happens annualy sometime in the summer, usually over a long weekend. These events see multiple days of tournaments, games, roleplay, crafting, camping and good company.
Windchill happens near or during winter, and while a smaller event, is like a mini Circles of Fate.
